Barnett Newman Study, 2021– ​

Since 2021 I've been thinking of  in-camera editing in relation to  what Barnett Newman called "zips," painted lines, or "streaks of light.  I imagine the DV tape itself,  and the images recorded, as a strip of his paintings repeated horizontally—the beginning and the end are there at once.
